Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)

Effective July 1, 1987 for the 1987-1988 academic year and thereafter, first time undergraduate aid applicants must earn a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average by the end of their second academic year. Graduate students, however, must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The academic year, for financial aid purposes, begins with the summer quarter and ends with the spring quarter.

Incomplete courses do not earn credit or influence the grade point in the quarter in which the course is incomplete; however, they are counted once they are completed.
