If you are an incoming freshman and we received the results of your FAFSA by our first-priority
deadline of March 15 and you were admitted to Ohio University by that time, we will send you an
Award Letter approximately April 1.
If you are an upperclass or graduate student your award letter will be available online by the middle of May.
You can access your Award Letter
online anytime. We also continue to update Award Letters throughout the school year if your
aid package is revised. Your Award Letter should not be returned unless you want to decline or reduce some of your aid. If you have questions about your
Award Letter, you should contact the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships.
If you
decide not to attend Ohio University, please let us know. You also should inform the Office
of Admissions and the Office of Housing, if applicable; and, cancel your classes if you have preregistered.
