What is Hourly Employment?
Students not eligible for Federal Work Study, but still interested in working on campus should explore the opportunities of Hourly Employment. Hourly jobs are University work positions available to all Ohio University students enrolled at least half-time. There is no financial need or grade point average requirement. Because all hourly jobs are affiliated with Ohio University, employers will arrange work hours around students’ academic schedules. Jobs are posted when new positions become available.
Where can I find hourly job postings?
Because the job posting service is centralized, students are assured an equal opportunity to apply for available jobs. Job postings are located:
Food Service Department
All hourly jobs are posted through CSES, except for those positions in the Food Service Department. Students interested in working in Food Service should apply in person to a dining hall manager at any dining hall on campus.
