WELCOME to Ohio University’s Centralized Student Employment Services (CSES). CSES is dedicated to helping students meet their employment goals throughout their college experience. To simplify your job search, we have divided the various employment opportunities into the categories below. Both PACE and Federal Work-Study wages will increase to $7.00 beginning
January 1, 2008 due to Ohio's minimum wage increase. PACE students can
continue working 10 hours a week, not to exceed the annual earnings
maximum of $2,100. Federal Work-Study students can continue working 8
hours a week.
- University employment positions
- Must meet financial need requirement
- Hours: up to 8 hours per week
- Base rate: $7.00 per hour
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per quarter)
- Undergraduate students only
- Positions available fall through spring quarter
- Students may NOT hold a federal work-study and a PACE position at the same time
- Community Service application 
 
- Summer Service Corps 

- University employment positions
- No financial need possible grade point average requirement
- Hours: up to 20 hours per week
- Pay: varies
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per quarter)
- Jobs available in and around the Athens Community
- No financial need possible grade point average requirement
- Pay and hours: established by employer
- Some jobs allow for more than 20 hours per week
- Many local jobs require means of transportation
- Internship-like work experience
- Hours: up to 10 hours per week
- Pay: $7.00 per hour
- To be eligible: must have
- completed 30 hours of coursework, maintained
- at least 2.3 accumulative grade point average, and
- demonstrate a need for earnings
- Must be a full-time student (12 credit hours per quarter)
- Undergraduate students only
- Positions available fall through spring quarter
- Students may NOT hold a federal work-study and a PACE position at the same time
